HELLO!

I'm a Christ-follower, college grad x2, higher education recruiter, esports social media director, and okayish Rocket League player. My hometown is home to the World's Largest Teapot and I put 100+ hours into Fire Emblem Three Houses in less than a month. What more do you need to know?

What's the deal?

I was raised my entire life in the church, but even at that, I hadn't always made Christ the main priority in my life. As someone who wears their heart on their sleeve, I carry a toxic habit of putting my faith in people more than God, which always ends up in a mess. After a few failed relationships both romantically and platonically, I looked to burying my head into my career as an outlet. While that worked for a temporary time, the weight of my work began to drown me, causing anxiety to enter my mind and my heart. I was trying to fill a God-shaped hole in my heart with something that was absolutely not God-shaped. Soon after, the COVID-19 pandemic spread throughout the United States, many people were put into quarantine, causing all non-essential workers to continue work operations from home. Being an extrovert and having a past that heavily relied on others, I was lead during this time to enter an uncomfortable season of my life to focus on building my relationship with God while learning what it meant to spend time in solitude with Him.

After that time in solitude to bring my priorities back in check, my faith strengthened and I was led to a  community of believers online who shared similar interests as me: GodSquad Church (GSC). I became plugged into the community and made the steps to not only join a weekly Bible Study and also, over time, I became a member of the Media Team and a Dwell Young Adults leader. God used that season of my life to grow me into my next season, which is now serving as the Director of Social Media and a competitive Rocket League player at Armor of God Esports.

Since the start of COVID-19, I've been able to find a replenished sense of eternal perspective in being called into ministry one day. I am not sure where God is leading me every single day, but as long as He is with me, I am willing to be sent in love and grace as I am thankful for all He has blessed me with. As long as I am breathing, I will give Him the glory.

God bless!
